About Me
Jessica is a UX Designer based in Toronto. She’s had an unconventional path, starting with studying to become a Social Worker and ultimately leading her to working on the largest pop culture events in North America.
Discovering UX was like having a light bulb go off for Jessica since it is the collision of psychology and technology. Jessica was naturally drawn to this field, having honed the essential skills of empathy and understanding human behaviours in her previous roles. Jessica has always found learning about what makes people tick fascinating, and has a keen curiosity for how psychology ultimately impacts the decisions that people make.
Being a naturally inquisitive person as well as someone who goes above and beyond to help others, Jessica Somerville believes that UX Design provides a new perspective for her on how to do just that.
